Description of the research topic:
Examining the characteristics of the graduates and the transition to the labour market is of particular importance both in Hungary and in the European Union with regard to the expectations of the higher education institution. Centralised, survey-type data collection has been implemented in Hungary since 2010, and since 2011, the identification of peculiarities through the information connected through the Administrative Databases Integration has been regular. The advantage of the former is the assessment of subjective opinion and information, but in return, the response rate is 10-15%. The advantage of the latter is data integration exceeding 95%, but the trade-off can be identified in the objective elements.
The 7th Eurostudent survey was carried out in the EU in 2022, which examines the characteristics of students across several countries, and the first Eurograduate survey was conducted in 2022, which examines the placement of graduates according to uniform criteria. Administrative database integration does not work at the EU level; that is the right and possibility of the member states.
Each database can be requested, so it provides good feedback for the regional structure of higher studies and the necessary modifications within them. It is also an important input for measuring and assessing the performance and quality of higher education institutional indicators.

- Assessing and supporting progress related to the indicators of model-changed universities
- Student migration depending on the institution and place of residence/ identification of the regional impact
- Characteristics that determine the wages of recent graduates/territorial effects
