Description of the research topic:

Within the theme there are a broad range of topics for research through the lens of social sciences and human geography including environmental history, history of environmental studies, political ecology of environmental controversies and conflicts, environmental discourses, representation and communication of nature, human-nature relationship in urban and rural context, with special focus on climate change.
