Description of the research topic:

Up-to-date information on the effects of climate change is essential for crop production and environmental research, as it determines the evolution of soil conditions and their consequences. The overall aim of this PhD position is to gain a deeper understanding of the interrelationships between soil, plant, and water systems on soil greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and the processes that influence these connections. The proposed research topic focuses on GHG monitoring, analysis, and modeling at the catchment scale, with a balance of field survey and observation, laboratory analysis, and computer work.
