Description of the research topic:
The aim is the search for and characterization and identification of antibacterial and antifungal compounds of invasive plants with big biomass. The non-target detection of components of various extracts of different plant organs is carried out by liquid chromatography coupled with antimicrobial assays. After the preparative-scale bioactivity-guide isolation of the selected compounds, their characterization and identification are performed by mass spectrometry and NMR. The effect of the isolated active compounds is characterized against various plant pathogens MIC and IC50 values.
