Abbreviation of location of studies: ELTE

Description of the research topic:

Space climate is the long term (> 10 years) variation of conditions in near-Earth and interplanetary space, driven by long-term variations of solar activity, driven by fluctuations and feedback mechanisms in the solar dynamo. The reserach project focuses on the reconstruction of such variations based on historical measurements and proxy data, on understanding and modelling of the underlying physical mechanisms, and forecasts of future variations in space climate.
