Description of the research topic:
An aging society and increasing life expectancy are two processes which have a major impact on pension systems. These are relevant characteristics of developed countries internationally. In the European Union, pensions are considered a national matter, so it is interesting and worth comparing pension reforms of individual countries. Our approach focuses on how the new systems are trying to ensure sustainability. Modeling possible parametric and theoretical variants is an exciting area of research.
