Description of the research topic:

This study is grounded in the pivotal role of community greenways in addressing urbanization challenges and conducts a comparative analysis of community greenways in Zhengzhou City and Budapest, Hungary. The objective is to categorize the diverse types of community greenway open spaces in both locations. Utilizing spatial data analysis methods with ArcGIS software, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), field surveys, and questionnaire surveys, and drawing on the concept of the "15-minute living circle," the research aims to explore existing models of community greenways and assess the advantages and disadvantages of community greenway construction in Zhengzhou City. Subsequently, the study will carefully examine the planning, design, and implementation of community greenways based on their potential to improve the urban ecological environment, promote community interaction, and enhance the quality of life for residents. By quantifying the impact of community greenways in different urban environments, it discusses the supply and demand relationship of existing community greenways from a humanistic perspective. Ultimately, the study aims to provide recommendations for the construction and improvement of community greenway networks and slow traffic spaces in Zhengzhou City at macro, meso, and micro levels. Through comprehensive exploration and analysis, the research seeks to offer valuable insights and recommendations for enhancing the urban environment and promoting sustainable urban development.
