Description of the research topic:
The research program aims to examine how procedural legislation ensures the effective enforcement of substantive rights, taking into account the expectations of society, the achievements of modern technology, and the basic principles developed by jurisprudence and judicial practice. The focus of the research is a comparative analysis of the chosen institutions of procedural law. This includes examination of the impacts on Hungarian civil procedural law, studying the related case law, as well as the analysis of specific national civil procedural law institutions within the European Union and also beyond the EU. Reviewing the results and mapping out the expected trends can further our knowledge in this field of research. In addition to the challenges arising from the new Hungarian Code of Procedural Law, the program pays special attention to international trends and foreign solutions. Recent procedural codification and judicial practice based upon the new rules offer extensive research opportunities.
