Description of the research topic:

In this topic, we primarily recommend the processing of private law institutions and areas of civil law that are undergoing significant change today. This is mainly due to globalization and digitalisation. These include the development of international model codes, the analysis of cross-border legal relationships, new types of contracts in the field of consumer protection law and commercial law. Within this topic, the analysis of the challenges posed by artificial intelligence and e-commerce in certain areas of private law is also particularly preferred. In addition, the regulation of electronic disposition or the regulation of cross-border successions may also be an interesting area of research. In addition to the dogmatic analysis, a comparative legal study is recommended to determine the specific research topics chosen within the topic. Of course, there is also no obstacle to the processing of traditional areas of law which are particularly relevant today, such as the transformation of the turnover of things and ownership or changes in the contract system, and so on.
