Description of the research topic:

Several factors can be identified affecting the new ideas in the field of transportation solutions. To reveal these factors, one of the mainstream methodologies is the group of Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) techniques. The MCDM methodology plays a key role in the research of this proposal. Public transport (PT) solutions support the realization of sustainable urban transportation systems. PT with new mobility forms could replace car rides and change commuting habits. Decision support tools can help collecting information about user preferences related to the development potential of PT. The objective of the research is to construct advanced models capable of synthesizing the aspects of various user groups supporting PT development decisions.
