Description of the research topic:

The industry revolution 4.0, the rise of the Apps have encouraged wide scale stock market participation at unprecedented magnitude globally. It is argued (limited evidence) that the increased retail market participation have altered market quality . The Covid-19 pandemic further fueled retail participation. Traditionally retail traders focused on small, lottery stocks which changed in recent years. Thus, the question arise which part of the market is still efficient versus suspectable to market sentiment, retail raids.
