Description of the research topic:
Non-canonical nucleic acid structures (guanine quadruplexes, intercalated motifs) can form
most frequently in single-stranded nucleic acids and have very important roles in the
regulation of the initiation of replication, telomere sequences, switching on and off genes,
they are also markers of cellular identity. The purpose of our studies is to synthesize these
structures and elucidate their role in biological systems
