Description of the research topic:

Recent advances in sequencing techniques greatly increased the available datasets in the field of oncology. By integrating multiple datasets and data types (such as DNA alterations, RNA and epigenetics), we are able to identify different subgroups of patients that may respond better to certain treatments, or have overall better prognosis. Our goal is to develop a system that can integrate genetic and epigenetic data to identify differential subgroups, better predicting survival and drug response.
