Description of the research topic:

Extra-articular manifestations including renal, cardiac and vascular involvements are investigated in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), progressive sysetmic sclerosis (SSc) and spondylarthopathies (SpA). The aim of the project are to find novel biomarkers,in lupus nephritis, novel methods to monitor the vascular involvements in scleroderma, and to compare the cardiac function in different subgroups of patients with spondyatrhopathies.
