Description of the research topic:

One of the most important steps in achieving sustainable development would be to reduce the pull effects of economy: its demand for materials and energy. On one hand to achieve these goals our consumption would be necessary to reduce and on the other hand the producing processes should use suitable energy- and material efficient (BAT) technologies. Managing energy demands by the help of environmental friendly solutions is really a complex and difficult task. The increasing use of renewable energy sources is considered a suitable solution by a lot of experts. Therefore an important scientific issue is to study the problems of technical regulation, economy issues of renewables and also the risks connected to the natural environment and mostly the security of supply using renewable energy sources.
