The research topic covers issues related to the application and effectiveness of production / management systems and practices (e.g. lean approach, six sigma) supporting business performance development focusing on value creation processes. The research may also relate to a specific sector or area (e.g. SME or service sector adaptation possibilities), to a specific factor (e.g. role of human resources, organizational culture, organizational maturity, models), to national characteristics or international comparative study.
