Description of the research topic:

Through a combination of chemical, biochemical, and cellular methods, we are investigating key protein–protein interactions involved in intracellular signaling. One protein of interest is Raf kinase inhibitor protein (RKIP), a multifunctional regulator of numerous cellular processes, including those involved in cancer progression and metastasis. This project is focused on examining the interactions of RKIP with its protein binding partners, at the levels of the interactions themselves and their upstream regulation and downstream effects.
