Abbreviation of location of studies: EDI

Description of the research topic:

The objectives of the topic are:

1. Identification of low toxicity, biologically active xenobiotics in our immediate environment.
2. Quantitative analysis of identified xenobiotics in water, sediment, and soil (using HPLC, MS techniques).
3. Examination of the physiological effects of identified xenobiotics, mapping molecular impacts and actual target molecules (behavioral tests, bioassay studies, WB, IHC).
4. Long-term monitoring of the mechanism of action of xenobiotics in short-life-cycle model systems using modern imaging techniques (IHC, confocal microscopy, imaging mass spectrometry).

Required language skills: English language exam B2 level
Number of students who can be accepted: 1

Deadline for application: 2024-05-31
