Description of the research topic:

The aim of the research is to examine the communication characteristics among healthcare personnel in various settings of healthcare provision. Another aim is to explore to what extent the interpersonal competencies acquired by nurses contribute to the realization of patient-centered care; objectively measure how much time nurses spend with patients – particularly regarding time devoted to communication with patients; furthermore, to uncover the conditions necessary for the proper transmission of messages.
