Description of the research topic:
Perinatal grief processing is a specialized area within grief support. Parental grief in these cases can be prolonged and may become complicated grief. The lack of social support is evident, leaving grieving parents to cope with their pain alone. The significance of researching this topic stems from understanding how parental grief work is influenced by medical and healthcare communication and interaction. During the period of grieving, professionals in the relevant healthcare sectors receive what kind of appraisal, highlighting whether they can express their compassionate presence, which would serve as a preventive measure against burnout for them, and on the other hand, could provide psycho-protective content for the affected parents.
