Description of the research topic:

The importance of hybride imaging in receptor scintigraphies

ChatGPT

The SPECT/CT device is a useful tool in everyday routine isotope diagnostics, which enhances the possibility of precise lesion localization by creating a fusion of functional and morphological imaging, bringing us closer to the etiology of the disease. It helps to eliminate inaccuracies in absorption and movement in the obtained image, thereby improving the specificity and sensitivity of examinations and the effectiveness of applied therapy. Receptor studies can be quantified using hybrid procedures, which, complementing and strengthening visual evaluation, can provide more accurate diagnosis, therapeutic options, and patient follow-up.
