Description of the research topic:

The aim of the study is to examine the learning and academic performance of high school students as well as students participating in higher education in relation to mental hygiene. A key objective is to investigate the interaction between objectively measured and subjectively assessed learning effectiveness and mental hygiene. Therefore, the focus is not only on the effect of mental hygiene on learning success but also on learning effectiveness as a factor influencing mental health. Within the framework of mental hygiene, particular emphasis is placed on exploring self-awareness, stress and stress management, psychosomatic symptoms/illnesses, and student burnout. Another goal is to explore learning abilities and habits, as well as personality traits, that influence learning effectiveness. As part of the topic, possible innovation includes the development, experimental introduction, and evaluation of targeted programs aimed at supporting learning and mental health based on the results of the study groups.
