Description of the research topic:

Opportunities and challenges of first aid education and socialization

The main objectives of the research conducted in this field are as follows:

- Preparation of professional recommendations for decision-makers, aiming to achieve wide-ranging improvements and changes (e.g., enhancing the situation of first aid education within school frameworks, improving workplace first aid training, maintaining extensive awareness programs for laypersons).

-Development of age-specific methods and educational methodologies in the spirit of life-long learning (from early childhood to old age).

- Examination of the usability and effectiveness of smart technologies in the field of first aid (e.g., testing the effectiveness of educational and decision-supporting applications, exploring the possibilities of using VR and/or AR in first aid training, investigating feedback tools and the application of artificial intelligence in first aid education).

- Increasing the number of first aid providers who are capable of acting in real-life situations among those involved in the research and training, which can have significant societal impacts (increasing survival rates, saving more lives).
