Description of the research topic:

The efficiency of healthcare delivery relies not only on infrastructural and organizational conditions but also on the preparedness of healthcare personnel. Preparedness encompasses obtaining specific qualifications and certifications as well as ongoing practice-oriented training and knowledge of systems supporting clinical decision-making (guidelines, protocols, computerized decision support systems) during patient care. The aim of the study is to assess the outcomes of computerized decision support systems used in acute patient care internationally and domestically, as well as the effectiveness of related training practices, and the potential for integration into undergraduate healthcare education.
