Description of the research topic:

The range of tools, methods and reagents for clinical biochemical diagnostics is expanding and evolving rapidly. The aim of the present research topic is to investigate the usefulness of routine laboratory diagnostic markers used in the clinic in various disease models (eg. chronic renal failure and heart failure) and identification of new diagnostic markers in these disease models.
