Description of the research topic:
The conditions of producing products/services have a decisive influence on the performance of companies. Prospective PhD students may become involved in research into lean management, digitalization and industry 4.0, and process innovation as concurrent trends that significantly impact operational and company level performance. The research builds on Operations Management as its core knowledge base, but also related to other management fields, like organization theory, innovation management or business strategy. Both databases and corporate contacts are available for research.
Required language skills: English Further requirements: The doctoral student must be familiar with the field of Operations management (not Operations Research) and must be able to process English language literature and communicate in English. We do research in a research group.
