Description of the research topic:
Today, both production and service organizations use a large number of methodologies that promise to streamline business processes and reduce costs. The research topic covers the application of different process management approaches and their supporting IT solutions (e.g. process design tools, ERP, workflow and collaboration applications, RPA, process mining). Further possible topics are the realization of process-oriented organizations and the challenges of process performance management.
