Description of the research topic:

The research topic examines the conditions for the survival and successful operation of larger family businesses (over the micro-enterprise category), the cornerstones of which is “professionalization”. This concept includes the professionalization of the executive level management, the implementation of systems and methodologies to individual business functions (e.g., finance, sales, HR), the establishment of a leading business culture, and the re-organization of the owner family’s the internal relationships.
