Description of the research topic:
The research delves into the intricate interplay between individuals and their surrounding environments, unravelling the multifaceted relationship between people and diverse landscape types. Focusing on three distinct typologies – desert, forest, and coastal areas – the research aims to scrutinize the nuanced ways in which individuals perceive, interact with, and derive meaning from their surroundings. A crucial aspect of the work is its focus on the North African context. By situating the research within the specific cultural and environmental nuances of Tunisia, it seeks to unveil how cultural heritage, historical context, and local perceptions shape the way individuals engage with their surroundings.
