Description of the research topic:

Urban heat islands (UHIs) pose a significant challenge in urban environments, impacting the microclimate and the well-being of residents. This research aims to investigate and develop sustainable landscape architecture strategies to mitigate UHIs specifically within public gardens. By exploring innovative design approaches, vegetation selection, and materials, even developing a tool , the study seeks to offer practical solutions for creating cooler and more resilient urban garden spaces.
