Description of the research topic:

Hungary played an important role in the development of the modern academic study of Judaism. Scores of significant scholarly oeuvres await exploration. The project may be of bibliographic or prosopographic character, may focus on correspondences, unpublished works, regional (Czech, Moravian, Galician, Carpatho-Russian, Transylvanian etc.) connections, etc.
