Description of the research topic:

The study of the everyday and institutional uses, representations and perceptions of violence shed light on many aspects of the cultural and political transformations of late medieval and early modern Europe by the detailed analysis of rituals, everyday customs, criminality, justice, religious practices, print culture and graphic representations.
