Description of the research topic:

The examination of social changes needs always a longer historical approach. The formation of the modern society began in Hungary in the long 19th century and continued in the 20th century. There are a lot of issues for a scientific research related to the topic such as the changes of social groups (forming, changing, disappearing), the changes of the gender roles and the roles within a family, the changes in the world of work, the effect of the extension of the state, the appearing of free time and its change in use, the changes in judgement about ages (youth, hoariness) etc.
