During the 19-20th century, the appearance of Europe has changed significantly. Empires have disappeared, political blocs have been transformed, while nationalism flourished. The continent's history has been shaped by numerous conflicts, which caused population displacements and economic changes. The study of these transformations is particularly important, as they serve as the basis for contemporary events, political commitments, social and economic relationships.
