Description of the research topic:

Within this field any subject proposal is welcome which plans to deal with the reception and interpretation of passages, figures, features, ideas or problems appearing in the biblical corpus (Old Testament / Hebrew Bible, Deuterocanonica, New Testament, Pseudepigrapha). The research should focus on the presence of the biblical source material and ideas in Hellenistic Judaism, Rabbinic Literature, Early Christianity, Patristic or pagan literature, possibly with a comparative approach.

Recommended language skills (in Hungarian): German, French, Italian
Further requirements:
Language knowledge: The candidate is expected to read and write in English on an advanced level. The knowledge of Hebrew (Aramaic), Greek or Latin is a requirement, depending on the language of the sources chosen
