Description of the research topic:

The event of the Holocaust is still a prevalent theme is contemporary literature across the Euro-Atlantic region, and beyond. After the era of witnesses, new generations and new regions keep joining the discourse on Holocaust memory and its artistic representation. When researching this topic, we examine the literary devices used by contemporary authors to represent the memory of the Shoah, the ways of its contextualization, and new insight these works of art might offer.
