Description of the research topic:

This call is open to students who intend to study the literary and cultural life of the Hungarian emigration of the interwar period. The dissertation may deal with works that deal with the experience of emigration, or it may follow a literary career that has often spanned the diaspora communities of several countries. The literary institutions, important periodicals, literary societies, the critical life of the emigration, or the persons who played a key role in the transmission of Hungarian literature abroad (e.g. translators, publishers) can also be the subject of the thesis.
