Description of the research topic:

The definition of the human is context dependent, and has always had serious consequences for those who exist on its borders or are excluded. I invite proposals engaging with the literary representations engaging with the consequences of the changing definitions of the humans, from the perspective of philosophy, postcolonial studies, gender, or Holocaust studies, class, economics and animal studies, posthumanism, intersectionality and “multidirectional memory”.
