Description of the research topic:
In the past few decades, the conceptions and appearences, limits and representations of life have figured as an increasing field of research. Areas of research include political theory, philosophy (including philosophy of technics), cultural studies, history of art and literature, and literary theory. The proposal should focus on questions of life and the living from the perspective of literary and/or cultural studies.
