Description of the research topic:

Because of its potential, 5G technology is unstoppable today. In addition to completely revolutionizing society, 5G also presents a number of prospects for defense organizations like the military. The struggle and work involved in realizing these prospects will be ongoing. The basis for terrestrial cellular mobile communications will be set by the fifth generation (5G) of international mobile communications technologies. A new strategy is being used in the development of 5G to increase societal accessibility to the internet. Vehicles, "gamers," healthcare systems, business, security/emergency services, etc. are some of these. Applications such vehicular communications, augmented reality, critical infrastructure control, industrial applications, and ubiquitous IoT are all being increasingly enabled by solutions that are being developed and put into practice. To this end, 5G offers the military chances through a number of brand-new, cutting-edge features and technology. To successfully support their missions, armies must deploy effective communication and information technologies. In light of this, research into 5G-based defense capabilities is crucial and a key component of current NATO initiatives.
Research objectives:
Researching the potential of 5G technologies for military applications. Examining the associated infrastructures and systems that might be crucial in the infocommunication support of defense activities. Analyzing the MN5G (Multinational Collaboration on 5G) project's activity.
New scientific result to be achieved:
Because of their compatibility and interoperability, 5G waveforms and systems may provide a shared platform for international operations or civil-military collaboration. The application of 5G systems and technology to the growth of military capabilities inside NATO and its Member States. Establish 5G standard development guidelines that also satisfy military requirements.
