Description of the research topic:

In organisational and inter-organisational cooperation, trust provides a framework that is a cornerstone of information sharing and cooperation. Trust enables real-time data sharing, shared thinking, agility, proactivity, etc... It is also important within the organisation, but is of particular importance in supply network collaboration. Why and for whom is trust important? What do organisations mean by trust? How is trust developed and maintained at organisational/individual level? What model can be set up based on the level of trust of organisations, in terms of organisational cooperation and what are the indicators? The aim of the PHD work is to answer these questions based on empirical results and to develop an objective assessment method to determine the "maturity level of trust" of an organisation.
The topic is very novel. This research topic, with its outstanding added to the existing research results, will collect good practices and thus strevalungthen collaboration between organisations in supply networks. The objective assessment model to be developed in the research to determine the level of trust maturity in supply chains could also be an innovative outcome of the research.
