Description of the research topic:

This research field covers moving picture in the widest sense, from film to moving pictures produced by new media devices, and the various self-reflexive practices that present in these moving picture formations. Possible research projects might include the investigation of historical formations and theoretical conceptions concerning self-reflexivity. Preferred methodological approaches include both semiotic-intermediality and cultural studies theories.
