Description of the research topic:

This research subject concerns issues in metaphysics and philosophical psychology, viz. an analysis of the concepts and conditions of the diachronic identity of persons and the concept of personhood (as understood by e.g. the Lockean, Neo-Lockean and animalist views) and an exploration of the compatibility of metaphysical theories of personhood and personal (diachronic) identity with our experience as persons.
