Description of the research topic:

Lung parenchyma injury – acute and chronic as well – are the decisive factors of survival in traumatic chest injury in all but the exsanguination cases. Cellular level investigations of these events form the core of the project. Theoretical, clinical and practical aspects of invasive and noninvasive ventilations are also investigated.
