Description of the research topic:

The development of psychiatry has always been closely related to the social sciences (psychology, philosophy, sociology, etc.) and to the various arts (fine arts, music, literature, film). Literature is one of the best mediators for presenting and socio-cultural attitudes to suicide and nowadays cinema and media have become more and more prominent. In our frontier research, we examine the development of these cultural mediators in order to get to know the reflections of different time and cultures, looking at the present and future messages of the development of psychiatric trends.
