Description of the research topic:

The research objective is to explore the vocabulary development in the target language(s) of university students with Hungarian L1 majoring in foreign language(s) as an intercultural phenomenon. The main focus is on the acquisition of the B2-C1-level (CEFR) vocabulary and the academic vocabulary of the target language(s), with special regard to the dynamics of the vocabulary size development and the changes in the organization of the mental lexicon.
