Description of the research topic:

The concept of quality is of paramount importance within the realm of translation. Evaluating translations and defining the concept of quality in translation is of great importance both in the translation industry and in translation training. When evaluating translation, ususally the product, the translated text is put forward, while the process and context of translation, the person of the translator and translation competences should also be investigated in order to get a full picture of what leads us to producing high quality translations.
