Description of the research topic:

How can interpreting be investigated in the broader context of communication? How can the setting, players, and other contextual features of different interpreted events be characterized? How can the efficacy of interpreting be improved by investigating and modifying the communication setting? This project will include research projects that investigate interpreting from the perspective of communication.
