Description of the research topic:

Conflicts are a natural part of our social existence, thus they are present in every area of life (family, company, institution, literature, etc.). In experiencing, processing and interpreting conflicts, communication and language play a central role. The aim of the research is to present the typical linguistic, communicative and social aspects of conflict situations with functional-cognitive pragmatic approaches (through the analysis of empirical data), with special emphasis on the role of figurative language (metaphor, metonymy) and action types.
