Description of the research topic:
People the world over have built „imagined realities” (Harari, 2014) by means of concepts that denote concrete, physical aspects of the world. This process is metaphorization. Doctoral students who choose this problem area will follow the metaphorical processes in one or several cultures with regard to a single topic that represents one such imagined reality (such as society and social relations, economy and money, sports, national identity, the self image of humankind).
